Hello World!

WOW I didnt realize how much I used the internet:) I have felt lost not having it. I feel cut off from civilization. Anyway, it has been an interesting first week. The trip over went good for the first 11hrs! About 30 miles out of SA Jared and Jarelyn hit a deer in front of me. My nerves were shot and that really pushed me over the edge. We made it to our camp spot and it was beautiful! There were 6 deer in our front yard when we pulled in- of course Jared and Jarelyn thought we had died and gone to heaven. We are right on the lake, about 200yds maybe. Day two Jarelyn and I decided to go out and see our new town. We were only gone 20 min when we were stopped at a red light and a lady ran into us! Everyone is okay and luckily our car and truck made it through without any damage from the deer and the crazy lady:) Jarelyn loves SA and says we can stay here forever! She loves the soccer balls up in the air(water towers LOL). Day three 1/3 of the cell towers in Texas went out so we couldnt call anyone. Jarelyn and I went to take a shower and the lights are on a timer, ya didnt set that long enough... ended up in the dark and Jarelyn was not happy with me! I finished shaving in the dark and told her it would be okay I would turn the lights back on in a second. I got out and I stepped on a SCORPION!! Are you kidding me?! I have lived in AZ for 30 yrs with no problems and I make it 3 days in TX! Okay so by the time I go to bed I am really ready to be back home in AZ. Jarelyn told Jared after he hit the deer, "this vacation is over!" LOL Im with her! Day 4 we are starting to feel better, by that I mean me. Jarelyn and I got lost but ended up finding the library and the internet!! So day 4 is the best so far:) Hope everyone is doing good. We love and miss you all! Love Jared, Judy, & Jarelyn

3 more days:)

WOW is it really already Friday?! We got the results back from Jared's exam and they said he passed with flying colors! We just found out that Warren has added a hiring freeze! It is amazing that we were offered the job 5 days before the freeze was put into effect- what a blessing! Jarelyn has been staying with her grandparents in thatcher(getting in some last minute spoiling!). Last night all her cousins got to have a sleep over and they had a blast! Jared and I have been taking advantage of the time alone. We went on a date thursday night(dinner and a movie) We saw "he's just not that in to you"- wasnt empressed, but the company was great:) we had the whole theater to ourselves;) Yesterday we got new tires on the trailer(thanks Tony/BIG-O!). So we are just about ready to go. We are looking forward to getting to visit and say our 'so long for nows' with friends and family tomorrow. I dont know that I will be able to get back online for the first week or 2. Dont give up on me I will get some pix and updates on as soon as I can. Im sure there will be pleanty of great stories about a 10 hour trip with Jared and Jarelyn riding together:) Thanks again to everyone for the good wishes and happiness it has sure made this a lot easier for me! ttfn

Home Sweet Home

WOW What an adventure this is going to be:) We will have our own little caravan heading to Texas. Our truck, camper, trailer, and our car! Anyone else want to join in?! Jarelyn and Jared are at odds about how many toys are "enough" LOL Im going to bet Jarelyn comes out ahead on this battle. I am limited to only 1 ironing board for this trip;) I am so excited that this blog thing is working out so well. Im not surprised that Gram just jumped right in... shes a Grandma blogger! Bet she didnt see that in her lifetime anymore than I saw Texas in mine:)Today is Jared's last day of work at Empire. He will start moving out his tools tomorrow from his truck. It took him a whole day when he moved into his new truck, and that was working non stop. I hope he can get it done by Monday! LOL Jared is VERY organized(in his work area). Every tool has its place and faces a certain way. He is almost as bad as me in my kitchen. It makes me proud though when anyone he works with sees his truck or work area. It reflects what kind of worker he is. I am excited we are going to get to stay in the CAT family too. Jared has a strong loyalty to their products. Its easier to work for something you believe in! WarrenCAT our new dealership is part of a bigger company Warren Equipment. There are 6 other companies under Warren Equipment besides WarrenCAT. They are actually getting ready to build a factory in Texas where they will be hiring back close to 16,000 of the 20,000 CAT employees that were laid off last month to build engines. That alone makes me proud to be part of this company. We are still waiting for that phone call that lets us know everything went good with Jared's exam... tick tock... tick tock...

Counting down the days

Six more days until we leave! WOW I hope I can think of everything that we will need. I guess if not we didnt need it that bad. Or at least I am going to be in the country so I can run to the store.
Yesterday Jared had his physical test in Tucson. We dont know if he passed or not, but Im sure he did fine... other than bending over;)
The horses got a new home today!!! The things I have to do:) LOL
I am so thankful to all our friends and family. We have had so much support and offers for help packing and moving. It will be hard to leave such great people. We hope that we can take that with us and share it in Texas. San Angelo seems to have a great neighbor helping neighbor attitude too. I'll let you know if the "Texan hospitality" is just a bunch of hype.
