Fun at the Lake

Every summer Grandma D takes us to the lake. If she could she would just live at the lake!

God Bless America

Keeping with our tradition of making shirts for the 4th of July, Jarelyn and I wanted to do something extra special this year to show our respect & appreciation to the HotShot Firefighters that lost their lives protecting land and homes in Yarnell Arizona. Jarelyn came up with 19 Gold hearts to represent each one! I think it turned out super cute- like the little girl wearing it!! We added stars to her hair and some red, white, & blue bling before she headed up to the White Mountains with Grandma and Grandpa D Kerr!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

We went to our FIRST Diamondbacks game this summer and had a BLAST We Tweeted a Thank-you to Aunt Maxine that made it on the big screen but you can't read it in the picture- Had an amazingly fun time! Look forward to doing it again!!

NOT Back to School Day 2013

Every year Jarelyn & I have celebrated our choice to homeschool by having a NOT Back to School Day when all the other kids go back to class. This year we were so blessed to get to have some amazing friends to share the day with!! We spent the day up at Mt Graham enjoying beautiful weather! We had a fun picnic lunch, made tie-dye shirts to wear for our group activities for the year, did our All About Me/When I grow up I want to be.. pages. Jarelyn wants to be a Mermaid at an Aquarium! There was lots of running around and exploring and enjoying fresh air and swinging! Each person colored a page that was a puzzle they had to figure out{it says, "Our Class Rocks"} We finished up the afternoon by reading Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day This day was most certainly NOT any of those!!
